Northern 'Joker' in the Primaries against Nigeria's Future

By Renn Offor

It was a northern coup against Wike. If Tambuwal didn't step down, the northern delegates votes would have been split between him and Atiku, the consequence of which Wike would have won.

Whoever doesn't believe that the north has an agenda to remain in power should go to sleep. Remember what Gandollar told Wike, 'You would lose, but you will be a good loser'! It came to pass

Wike tried so much though. I wasn't expecting him doing so much

What we saw at PDP's Primaries would repeat itself at the APC's Primaries giving, hence giving Bola Ahmed Tinubu the ticket

Take it or leave it.

APC has scheduled their primaries for 3days, 6-8 June, to allow ample chance for enough arm twisting and money trading to do well. So, the money bags are coming with more dollars to share

Still, it's going to be very interesting in the end though as Nigerians would have to decide between unplugging 'old politicians' of which Atiku and Tinubu belong, or going for Peter Obi who represents a new Nigeria and ushering in dynamic development agenda and policies

I perceive Mr. Obi's biggest challenge would be the breaking of tribal, religious sentiments among corporate Nigeria and the youths of Nigeria

Impoverished and desperate Nigerian delegates already sold themselves out to peanuts. But I hope in the presidential elections, all Nigerians would look at the next 10years in the lights of all the bloodshed and poverty this country has been under in the last 8 years and give a new Nigeria a chance

The ball is in the hands of the youths, the future of this country and all Nigerians who desire a better country for their children.
