  YADUDU APPOINTED MEMBER WORLD GOVERNING BOARD OF ACI        T aptain Rabiu Hamisu Yadudu, MD, FAAN M The  anaging Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Captain Rabiu Hamisu Yadudu has been appointed a member of the World Governing Council of Airports Council International (ACI). He, alongside two others,  Mr Emanuel Chavez of Aeroportos de Mozambique (President) from Mozambique and Mr. Dewananda Chellen of Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (Member) from Mauritius were appointed as representatives of Africa on the Board. The appointment takes immediate effect.

 Cross River State Seeks Federal Government Support for the Repair of 156 Properties destroyed during #endsars Riot. The Commissioner of Tourism Cross River State Hon. Eric Anderson made this request when he Spoke to the Governing Council Members of the Federation of Tourism Associations in Nigeria FTAN holding its First Quarterly Council Meeting in Calabar.  He told the FTAN  Memebers that 156 Properties belonging to Individuals, Firms,State Government and Federal Government  worth about N73Billion Naira. Hon.   FAAN TEMPORARILY CLOSES MMIA E-FINGER SCREENING FOR MAINTENANCE The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria wishes to inform the general public that, as part of our maintenance and upgrade program, the E-Finger departure screening point has been temporarily closed to carry out some routine maintenance on the screening machines. Consequently, all human and cargo movement have been temporarily diverted to the D-Finger screening area until the maintenance and upgrade is completed. The Authority appeals to passengers and other airport users to please bear with us, as we hope to reopen the area as soon as possible.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria Captain Rabiu Yadudu has thrown his weight behind the first international aviation cargo conference Chinet '21. This was disclosed by atqnews.com, the organizers of the event. Speaking about the event, Ambassador Ikechi Uko explained that the support of some Nigerian Government Agencies to see the actualization of the event is a very welcome development. The conference will hold August 2021 in Lagos. “Nigeria has suffered for the first time in a decade a massive trade deficit according to the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, NBS", he revealed.  "Exports grew by 6% but still less than imports.
