NANTA's President drives effort to promote tourism in schools

  -To host Teachers to tourism adventure President of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA) Mrs. Susan Akporiaye would be hosting Nigerian Teachers to a tourism adventure as part organisation's strategic effort to market the country's tourism assets and products to teachers and the education sector. NANTA revealed that participants and winners of the Nigerian Teachers reality show, will be hosted to hands on and practical tourism experience by the organization's President, Mrs. Susan Akporiaye.   Young, talented Nigerian singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, is dead. According to Paul Akpabio blog, she is said to have battled an illness, before she passed away. Osinachi Nwachukwu was popular known for her song ‘Ekwueme, a song that was well received by Christians all over Nigeria.

Nigeria, Egypt to sign MOU on Arts and Craft Development

DG NCAC Otunba Olusegun Runsewe (right) appreciating an art work from Egypt. With him is the Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Amb. Ihab Awad during his visit to NCAC Nigeria and the Republic of Egypt have agreed to deepen their bilateral cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on ways of developing their Arts and Crafts sector. This is one of the decisions reached when the Director General, National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Segun Runsewe recieved in audience a delegation from the Republic of Egypt led by His Excellency, Ambassador Ihab Ahmed in his office. The Ambassador remarked that he has been following the activities of Otunba Runsewe who has positively projected the image of Nigeria home and abroad within the Culture and Tourism space adding that Otunba is asiduously working to transform Nigeria's rich and diverse Cultural heritage into a viable economy.
